• Triscilla Holborow
    Triscilla Holborow Chief Executive Officer

    Triscilla founded REFAP together with Kelly in 2010, acting on a shared passion to help Aboriginal people make the most of their opportunities and find real employment.

     

    Triscilla has more than 25 years’ experience working in the mining and oil and gas sectors.

    She has excelled in various roles, including managing large earth-moving teams, consulting to Aboriginal organisations, developing and deploying safety and risk management strategies, and delivering and developing training programs. She has also won several awards relating to Aboriginal employment.

    Triscilla is a Traditional Owner from the Yaburara and Yindjibarndi tribes (a member of the Cosmos family), and she regards her greatest achievement as being able to support her community. She is passionate about helping Aboriginal people obtain meaningful and long-term employment – engaging and upskilling communities for a better future.

  • Kelly Grady
    Kelly Grady Managing Director-Pilbara Operations

    From a home-based operation to a thriving company with multiple offices, Kelly has helped the family business grow to around 75 staff in half the time anticipated.

    Kelly’s professional background is in finance, information technology, project management (Lean/Six Sigma), and mining and resources. She has successfully led and managed several multi-billion-dollar Iron Ore ports, most notably as a Deputy Registered Manager for Rio Tinto Iron Ore – Dampier Operations.

    Kelly holds a BComm (Accounting and Information Systems) degree from the University of Melbourne.

  • Shaun Brown
    Shaun Brown Operations Manager

    Shaun manages the Community Development Program (CDP) at REFAP, including the hosted placements. He also manages the Remote School Attendance Strategy (RSAS) contract.

    Shaun has worked at REFAP since July 2015. Previously, he worked in various management roles throughout the Pilbara. He also spent 23 years in the Australian Army cadets.

    His core skills include management (including operations, contract, change and account management), negotiation, new business development and strategic planning.

  • Karen Farrell
    Karen Farrell Coordinator – Roebourne

    Karen coordinates the Community Development Program (CDP) and the Remote School Attendance Strategy (RSAS) contracts in Roebourne.

    Karen joined the REFAP team in 2014 and is a founding member of the RSAS program. She has lived and worked in the Pilbara for almost 20 years – previously working in the mining industry and in various government departments.

    A strong Aboriginal woman from the Wiradjuri tribe in NSW, Karen has a professional background in community development and project management. She holds a Diploma in Community Services and recently completed a Certificate IV in Aboriginal Leadership.

  • Kyle Bartlett
    Kyle Bartlett Coordinator – Karratha

    Kyle is the coordinator of the Community Development Program (CDP) in Karratha. He has extensive experience working as an Indigenous mentor, and he is passionate about helping at-risk and disengaged Aboriginal youth connect with their communities and turn their lives around.

    Kyle first worked with REFAP when it started operating in 2010, providing labour on site as part of the wash-down group. After spending several years in Perth for family reasons, where he worked for Laing O’Rourke and Outcare, he returned to Karratha (and REFAP) in early 2017.

    Kyle enjoys working closely with the CDP job seekers to build relationships and help them overcome any barriers to employment. Also an award-winning songwriter, Kyle inspires and empowers people through his music.

  • Kristy Sinclair
    Kristy Sinclair Employment Coordinator

    Kristy has a Certificate IV in Employment Services and is responsible for the coordination and delivery of all employment-related contracts and labour hire operations at REFAP.

    A Noongar Aboriginal woman from Perth, Kristy joined the REFAP team in 2010. She has worked in the employment team since 2015 – initially as an Employment Consultant and now in a leadership role as the team’s Coordinator.

    Kristy is passionate about helping people. At REFAP, she manages and supports all team members, and looks after the job seekers with a disability. Kristy has previous experience working with people with disabilities, as well as in administration at EPIC (Empowering People in Communities).

  • Brittany Offer
    Brittany Offer Team Leader & Support Officer

    Brittany is REFAP’s Employment Team Leader and Post-Placement Support Officer (PPS).

    Based in Karratha, she is the first point of contact for 11 staff members in Karratha, Onslow and Roebourne. Brittany previously worked at REFAP in the area of compliance for two years. She was instrumental in establishing the compliance team, and developed a number of processes and procedures to ensure people meet their obligations.

    In her PPS role, Brittany works to ensure successful and ongoing employment placements. This requires strong communication skills and effective liaison with employees and employers. Brittany enjoys helping people get into work and back on their feet.
